This software is a personal work of passion of a single person. Everything you see is the creation of Christopher Albeluhn. I (Yes this is me writing) have been working on it for over 4 years now. Previous versions had to be scrapped and production was started on a new version when the engine it was based on had a massive upgrade. This isn't the kind of upgrade that can be easily changed and requited everything to be created and designed from the ground up.

It has been in development for a few years with multiple iterations created along the way in order to find the right balance of features and experience. Currently it is in the Alpha stage of development so it's not available for purchase. Once the foundation is in place Alpha builds might be released for general use and testing, but there is no date set for this yet.

My Goal

I (Chris) have been creating video games for over 13 years now. Many of the titles have been big names such as Deadspace, Transformers, The Simpsons, Dead Rising 2, John Wick, and many more. It's a great job, and I love the change of pace from game to game. However I do want to give back to the world something other than a game where it's all guns and violence.

Since I was a child, outer space has always fascinated me. The vast distances between celestial objects, and the influence they still have on everything amazed me. The seasons, migration patterns, lifestyles of people and animals, breading of animals, ocean temperatures, carbon dioxide emissions. So much relies on our solar system, and yet we're such a small speck in the broader picture of the universe.

In 2015 after I left Capcom, I decided to create a small demo. This 'demo' eventually ended up being the solar system program that was released later that year. Although it was public, I didn't originally intend for it to be released. It was actually being created as an addition to my portfolio, but my roommate found the video I uploaded and made a Reddit post about it.... It sort of went viral overnight. I didn't realize so many people wanted, so I did a 'go fund me' to raise a bit of money to purchase the things I needed to complete it, and I released it to the public.

As you might have guessed, that version isn't available anymore. Having not originally created it for public use, there were some corners cut. I wasn't happy with this at all, so I took down the software, and with the previously mention engine version upgrade, I had to create everything all over again. So that's just what I did, and where I am now.

Although this is my own project, I am not able to work on it full time. I do have bills to pay, and a life to live in order to keep my sanity, but I am still working on completing this software and getting it out there for all of you to enjoy.
